As christians out standard and model should be Jesus as He is the foundation of our lives. Anything apart from Him cannot be sustained

 

Jesus came that we might know how to live with God

 

You cannot stand if you don’t have the oild of Joy and gladness in your life – Hebrews 12:2

 

It is the will 9f God that we have the oild of gladness and joy. You can’t he a child of God and be anxious and depressed

 

St. John 15:11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

 

 

You need to fill your oil by praying, fasting and meditating on the word of God daily.

 

If you have Jesus in you, you have the deposit of Joy in you

 

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

You can’t hope if you don’t have the oil of gladness

 

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,

 

 

What is joy?

1. Joy is not a response to situation but a character (Galatians 5:22-23)

2. Joy is an outward expression of an inner expression (John 17:13)

3. it’s a choice (1 Thessalonians 5:16)
