Matthew 10:36 (ESV) – And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household.
Matthew 7:6 (ESV) – “Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.
Sometimes those who work against us are own flesh and blood – (Genesis 37:12) His own brothers hated and later envied him because he was favored in his father’s sight and also because of his dreams
Some families are suffering because they have sold their saviour due to envy
There is a breed of people who have everything they can imagine but still want the little you have that makes you happy – (1 Kings 21-5)
For the next level God is taking you, it is not everything you need to sit on or keep
1 Kings 12:9 – Even if the enemies fast for our downfall, how do we then eat and sleep comfortably
There are some friends whom we tell everything and later they betray our trust and spill our secrets
Psalm 55:11-14 (NIV) – Destructive forces are at work in the city; threats and lies never leave its streets. If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide. But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God, as we walked about among the worshipers.
Ahithophel was David’s best friend it was him who wanted David dead. He was the same man who gives David sweet counsel.
According to 2 Samuel 11:3 and 2 Samuel 23:34 (NIV) Bathsheba was Ahithophel’s granddaughter in law and David slept with her and even had her husband killed.

Saul the king wanted David killed because of the prophetic word on his life. Do not joke with the prophecy on your life like Sampson.
We should strive to live at peace with everyone
Enemies of the land – John 9:4
They attack you when you least expect it. They attack you when you are nearing your breakthrough but keep still when you have nothing
1 Kings 5:4 (NIV) – But now the Lord my God has given me rest on every side, and there is no adversary or disaster.
God gives us the oil of gladness so that we have peace
