Psalms 112:1-3

[1]Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.

[2]His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.

[3]Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.

 

 

Genesis 12:3 – I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

 

 

God told Abraham, out of your seed shall I give you all these lands (Galatians 3:16, Genesis 3:16). Anyone who comes through Christ will be a blessed family partaking in this blessing

 

Family confusion started from the time of Adam and Eve. After the devil couldn’t separate Adam and Eve, he influenced Cain to kill Abel (1 John 3:12)

 

You are responsible for the protection of your family. If you decide not to pray or cover them with the blood, you are leaving them to the mercies of the evil one.

 

Wealth alone can not preserve the family. In the case of the prodigal son, his faether gave him his inheritance but still he was torn from the family until he decided to come back.

 

 

Genesis 18:18-19

[18]since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

[19]For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

 

 

When having your devotion, include all members of the household including house helps, drivers and servants.

 

Ephesians 6:11-12

[11]Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

[12]For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

 

 

You don’t fight against the physical threats but the spirits that use those people

 

 

NIV, 1 John 5:19

We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

 

There are principalities and powers having jurisdictional controls over areas. You must contend them to have dominion

 

Even in our current dispensation, there are gods all-over

NIV, 2 Corinthians 4:4

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

 

NIV, St. Luke 4:6

And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to.

 

Jesus said to the people all authority and dominion has been given unto me (Matthew 28:18). The kingdom and area you find yourself determines who rules over you

 

 

God is a warrior so he expects us to be like one so that we don’t change our minds and faint

NIV, Exodus 15:3 – The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name.

 

NIV, Exodus 13:17 – When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.”

 

 

The Lord is a fighter so we His children can not chicken out of fear – Exodus 14:14

 

You need to get to a status where you don’t just pray but you become a man of prayer

 

NIV, Psalms 109:4 – In return for my friendship they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer.

 

 

Some weapons of the enemy

• Roaring lion – 1 peter 5:8

• There are evil weapons – Isaiah 54:17

• Witchcraft – Micah 5:12

 

 

God secures his people from the schemes of the evil one (no curse, magic, divination, sorcery can touch us)

Numbers 23:23 – “For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!’

 

 

Words are powerful and potent – Proverbs 18:21

 

 

 

Prayer points

• In the name of Jesus, any spell that has been released against my life and family, be destroyed in the name of Jesus (Micah 5:12)

• Lord, let every spell against my life be reversed in the name of Jesus

• My descendants will be wealthy. Wealth and riches will be in my house (Psalms 112:1-3)
