The first sign of being a Christian is proclaiming that Jesus is Lord and that you no longer belong to the world. As such our lives should be lived in a way that depicts that of Gods’.
There are three types of baptism in the life of Christian
- Baptism of repentance
- Baptism of water/immersion
- Baptism of fire
Why should I be baptized by Fire?
Matthew 3:11 (NKJV) – I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
It’s not every tongue speaking Christian that carries the power of fire on his/her tongue. You need to fight and yearn for the baptism of fire.
After the holy ghost came upon Jesus, he went to fast for 40 days and 40 nights and when he came back, he was baptized by the Holy Spirit so signs and wonders accompanied his ministry
Our forefathers have done their portion. It’s now our time to let the fire burn to impact nations.
The same fire that baptized those in the old days Is the same fire in our days, but we have wax cold. This is due to us spending more time away from the presence of God. We need to sacrifice and spend time with God.
